The Monroe County Community College wanted to completely renovate and update several existing auditoriums, classrooms and laboratories within the Life Sciences Building, which has remained relatively unchanged since the late 1970’s, when the building was constructed. The renovation has brought the existing building up to date with the current state of the industry. The following alterations were included in this work: Reworking the overall functionality, new material finishes, new audio visual technology, improve the existing flow and optimization of student seating, teacher stations, lighting, camera and video monitor placement.

“I am always impressed by their ability to solve any issue that arises either during the design or construction process, and supply the best solution that is aesthetically pleasing while remaining functional and cost effective.

Jack Burns Jr., NCARB Director of Campus Planning & Facilities
