The Monroe County Community College wanted to completely renovate and update the entire Black Box Theater located in the basement of the Campbell Learning Resource Center. This space is used as a teaching theater and the intent is to keep the “beat nick” feel of the existing space. Functions include: theater production (how to use lighting controls, barrel lights, etc.), classroom / lecture space (for film viewing), two student productions a year and poetry night.
